Francesca likes to get her muscles warmed up by doing a bit of stretching before her morning run.

Easter egg fun

We had a little pre Easter fun with the Thousands today. A mexican tradition - Cascorones eggs. The eggs are cleaned, drained, dyed and filled with confetti. The tradition is to crack the confetti filled egg over someone's head to bring good luck. The kids had a blast.

Tangled!

Ryan and Audrey watching Disney's Tangled for the first time. Ryan patiently waited all day to watch it with Audrey. The two 3 year olds gave the movie a good review.

Jumpy, Jumpy, Jump!

Francesca can not contain her excitement in the jumper! She has been bouncing around all morning.

Sisterly Love

This morning Audrey was feeling extra specially affectionate. She wanted to lay with Francesca and "kiss her all over" and that's exactly what she did. Too cute!

It's a hat fashion show!

Here at the Burke home we are anxiously awaiting the warmer weather. Audrey and I decided we would try on Francesca's summer hats to see what fit. We can't wait for spring!

Ice Cream Making

For Christmas, one of my gifts from Avery was an ice cream maker. After several months I thought it was probably about time to try it out. We are addicted now. My first batch was hazelnut ice cream which was amazingly good. After was lemon and here Audrey and I tackled cookies and cream. So yummy!

My girly girl!

Today, I took Francesca to get her ears pierced. I procrastinated going. With Audrey, we went just after her 6 month birthday but here we are finally at 8 and a half months and I decided it was time to get it over with. I took my mom for my moral support but Francesca did great. Just like Audrey she was hardly phased after the initial shock.
